Even getting into Mexico is tough. My partner and I tried to get him into Mexico and planned to marry there, but he was denied a tourist visa on the grounds that he wasn't rich (basically, based on what they expected as income).

From my research there aren't many places Indonesians are readily welcome without a visa or some sort of immigration process. I do believe he can fly into Cuba with no visa. While you can't travel directly to Cuba, maybe you could travel there via Mexico? Or, if he is willing to try, he could possibly enter Mexico through some means other than air.

I moved to Mexico/San Diego with the plans to marry in Mexico. I cross the border weekly and only have my passport checked 10% of the time. From what I understand, most non-airport immigration is far less strict. Of course you would have to be able to provide for his living expenses in Mexico while you awaited the application process again.

A lot of the countries require Indonesians to show money/cash in their pocket before crossing the border to show that you have money to be in the country. I had a maid who is Indonesian and we had to do all these if we want to take her with us for traveling.

Makes you wonder how they met in the first place.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

I received my I 292 form today, a denial of my I 129F petition

After reading through the letter and attachments it

became evident that I forgot to include the intent to marry

from my partner in Indonesia and the copy of my divorce

was not acceptable.

I have the divorce decree and the letter of intent from my partner.

Will USCIS take them without re-file or appealing?

At the suggestion of a second level USCIS phone rep. I have an info pass

appointment on 11/07. will they accept the needed 2 papers then?

Thanks, either way this is a good thing. I just hope after doing whatever

I have to do that UCSIS doesn't come up w/other excuses. I assume that

once I meet these 2 req. I'm good to go?

When did you last meet?

Still a valid question.

No, they will not accept the missing required docs after they have already denied the petition unless someone

will rig it especially for you at the info pass which I have never seen nor heard of.

It seems strange that they accepted the waiver and then denied for something they could have send a RFE (Request For Evidence)

to which you indeed could respond to. Be sure it is not an RFE.

Did they put it in writing that the waiver was accepted ?

That would be important for the next filing, the next adjudicating officer may decline a waiver.

There is nothing to appeal, the required docs were not submitted by you and you have to refile.

No, you are not good to go even if the waiver was accepted because the consulate may not be as discretionary and refuse

the visa IF you have 'never' met. In that case the approved petition will be returned to USCIS with recommendation to revoke.

Which is sounding more and more likely.
