We applied for my removal of conditions and with the application I sent in a letter asking very nicely to have an appointment either afternoon or a Friday because the office is a seven hour drive we can't afford a hotel room and we have a new born baby. We got scheduled for a Wednesday at 8 in the morning. So is it okay to reschedule or is that looked down upon? Can we include another letter explaining our circumstances? Will they even read it because they certainly didn't read our first one?

Also what is info pass? Can we use this to reschedule?

Go on info pass-it has a button that offers to cancel appointments. Site is here: https://infopass.uscis.gov/info_lang.php?sel_lang=en

Once that is cancelled, schedule another one. Make sure I have your receipt # handy, because you will need it to both cancel and schedule appointments. No questions asked and nothing crazy-it's very self-serve and straightforward.

You can use the Biometric letter to reschedule your appointment - it is simple and easy. But since you wanted it later in the day, it is good to explain your case, so that they may allow you a later time suitable.

However if you want you can try walk-in on any day but you will have to know if your center allows it - some center do and some don't. So inform your center and some one that had gone there will let you know if they allow early walk ins or not.
