is it ok for me to send all the info (I-129F, G325, etc.) in a three ring binder just so nothing is lost??

They wont need the binder they will just toss the binder anyway.

I punched everything with the standard 2 holes at the top, but only paper clipped the relevant sections, and packaged it all in a clear plastic folder with the string type closure at the top to keep it all together, and sent the package off in the convenient tyvec priority mail envelope from the us post office.

I'd advise against a 3 ring binder. They will have to take it apart when they get it anyway, and this takes more time... more delays, and the chance that something may slip out of their hands.

Just do what it says on their website, and use a ACCO clip to hold everything together.

You're probably just making more work for them. They will just take it out and throw away the binder. I suggest concentrating on making sure the papers are all there and all complete, and forget about stuff that doesn't matter.

I just stapled stuff like multiple emails and copies of receipts, and used paperclips for everything else.

I think they have to scan most of it anyway so they need the forms easily accessible.

Not throw away the binder, the officer that receive your package will toss the binder into his stuff, and might be annoyed he had to take the thing out in the first place so don't send it with the intention of giving them a gift.

Don't use a binder. Instead buy ACCO fasteners from any office supply store.

Use the ACCO fasteners. Punch 2 holes in the top of everything and fasten it together. That's what I did. I used a paperclip only to clip the pictures (in ziplock bags) to a piece of paper and the check to the cover letter.

In the great scheme of things as long as you include everything and it is well organised and easy to reference I really don't think it matters -concentrate on the important stuff! We used a binder and were approved in just under three weeks, that said I'm sure others have used one and not yet been approved -there really is no magic formula when it comes to compiling the package apart from triple checking everything!!
