We're so excited! I just called the Department of State and my fiance's interview is scheduled for November 25th in London. So, what all do we really NEED to bring to the interview in London to show proof of our relationship? It seems like London isn't as strict as some of the others, and I know they don't ask to see everything. Here's what we were thinking if anyone has had their interview in London and can let us know if we're on the right track.

- The packet that was sent with the i-129f

- Pictures from every trip

- Boarding passes

- Skype chat logs

- Some Facebook conversations, about one or two a month on months that we weren't visiting each other.

Do you think this will be enough? Anything we're leaving out? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

You won't need any of that, all you need is your interview letter passport ,two visa size passport photos, financial support forms that should of been sent to you by you fiance ,birth certificate plus a photocopy.police certificate plus a photocopy.

I haven't read of anyone needing additional evidence in London.I took a few photos as a just in case but wasn't easked for anything like that

I took a packet of stuff just because it felt weird not to, but it wasn't asked for.

Yep, you don't need any of your i-129f stuff. Just the I-134 forms and the supporting documents. Along with your interview letter, some passport photos and of course your passport. They never asked for any of the I-129f.

The passport photos seemed to be required for the forms you sent them previously required to get your interview (the DS-156K and all those others) but if you already attached photos to them when you sent them off, like I did, they won't need the photos you'd bring to the interview.

Take some evidence of relationship , take some bits of earlier forms. You won't get asked for them but they'll help you relax :-)

I took one photo of us together in 1980 as it kinda summed it all up. I showed it to the " friendly young African American ladytm " when she asked how we met which made her laugh and me relax .

You don't need any relationship evidence. However, I took our scrapbooks just as a 'security blanket'. It did help when she asked me 'So how did he propose?' I whipped out the relevant scrapbook and showed her the photos! I could have just as easily told her but I liked showing her the photos (and it was quite a cool proposal).

He was asked for photos. I think he took the skype record, but it wasn't asked for/used. He also had proof like my boarding passes/rugby tickets/etc, but that was also not used.

I did send in pics with my 129F of the trips he made to see us, including pics of him with kiddos, so they already had that proof but asked for more anyway.

His interview was quite short and the caution on his record (hitting a guy 2 yrs ago) was a total non-issue.

I took skype logs, photos, travel itineraries, etc just in case, because I knew I would be in for a tougher interview. I was not asked for any. In fact, I wasn't asked for a letter of intent (to revalidate our petition as ours had expired back in August) or for evidence that I could take the kids out of the UK and was only asked two q's about my fiancé (the rest were about my immigration history!). Go figure!

Look at the menu bar at the top of every page. Reviews: Embassy

Just click Embassy, because POE will take you to POE reviews.
