Hello, just wondering if anyone can help me here. CEAC website says "ready" and i think its now already at the embassy (UAE) but it's been a week and no news yet from the embassy. Should I just wait for them or should I contact them?

Also i did made a payment of the K1 Visa without receiving instructions yet from the Embassy. I guess I was just too excited to do that and thought I could schedule the interview date after, but no. When i was processing my payment it asked for the type of visa and the the case number and my name, and also the expiration date of the payment is after a year. Is this ok?

Please help! Thanks!

The embassy in UAE will schedule the interview, it took them about 10 days to let us know after we received the letter from NVC.

The embassy will contact the petitioner via email with the appointment letter and a list of what you need to bring. It will kinda look like spam because there will be no subject line - ours came from the sender Abu Dhabi, IV and there was no message, just two attached documents for the letter and list of physicians. I'm not sure about the payment situation since the letter instructs you to pay at the time of the interview - my best guess is to bring your receipt as proof of payment but other users may know better.

You can also contact the embassy directly with any questions once they've received your petition: http://www.abudhabiivo.net/ivocontactus0.aspx

We had actually wondered about the exact same thing last month and ended up asking another member here who had just gone through the interview stage. They were super helpful. Best of luck!

wait for your packet 3 and 4 emailed by US Embassy Abu-dhabi.

we got our packet 3 and 4 (instructions and appointment) took 4 days after embassy received our case.

no worries soon you'll get it too if not on Sunday maybe in the next few more days.

I think the best way to find out anything at this stage is to contact the embassy directly at the link posted above. We tried calling and skyping the Embassy with no luck, but they responded pretty quickly to my fiance's emails.
