Hello,

My file is still at NBC ... is it possible to know beforehand to which local office will it be forward to?

How can I find, with my ZIP Code, which office will the documents be sent?

Thanks

People filing from abroad file in the local USCIS office in the US embassy abroad.

No. This was true until two years ago. Nowadays, most expats are screwed just like domestic filers. Only expats in countries with a USCIS office can file directly at the embassy, which means only a lucky few can DCF. In their ultimate wisdom, USCIS decided to increase their workload by 5% (abroad filers), and insisted it would be more convenient for abroad filers. It's laughable. Now look at the complete disaster they have created for themselves and families. They watched a mountain of petitions turn into Everest, and after letting them wait in a box for eight months, some are finally shipped off to some service centers, where their future is uncertain.

Great. Just great.

Am i not right in assuming that ONLY embassies with USCIS office overseas are eligible to do DCF ? IN other words if the embassy does not have a USCIS office, then you cant do DCF ?

Thats exactly what i meant with my first statement.
