You are potentially in a whole load of trouble and your plan is to return to the country?! You are either an idiot, someone trying to get a reaction or doing a good impression of an 80's pop star with the first name Gary, oops8rh.gif

Dude. I dont make music video with underage. I sponsored their music to sell so they can make a living.

So you're a charitable guy doing it "for the people," who just so happened to end up on a PROTECT list, and also had the misfortune of trying to sponsor an underage girl on an I-129f who also just so happened to have changed her name.

Quite the run of bad luck and coincidences there.

OP, there must be a way to communicate with her to find her real age. Am sure she have friends and family and if possible you have been in contact with her family and friends. Didn't u submit proof of relationship when you filed for her? No facebook account?

You need to know her real name and age before anything as that's the only way of knowing if you have commited the crime or not and talking of going back in the new year wouldn't be a bad idea if you are ready for the worse.

Goodluck!

I just took time to search what this PROTECT is. It's really bad news.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PROTECT_Act_of_2003

It seems to be even worse than being found guilty of murder as murderers gets potential parole but this thing has this:

  • Provides for mandatory life imprisonment of sex offenses against a minor if the offender has had a prior conviction of abuse against a minor, with some exceptions.

I'm actually offended that OP had the nerve to suggest going back there.

wow.gif I can't believe you would take to VJ on this one. First thing I would do is call a lawyer and quick! This does not sound good for you and it seems like you are not getting the point if you are considering traveling while an investigation of this magnitude is pending. Not saying you did anything, but if there was a prison system I would prefer it would be an American one. Going to Laos and not thinking they would toss you in the jail is naive.

Withdraw the petition and start afresh, For how did spend in Ap?

I don't think the OP intends to persue his 'fiancee' He says they broke up.

What's more worrying here, is that he is in a world of trouble, and not bright enough to understand it. He needs a lawyer in the worst way. He also needs to drop any foolish idea he has to go back there. I don't think foreign jails are any more pleasant that the American variety.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

You might want to take others advice and retain a lawyer. Also, you might not want to post anymore information on a public forum.
