If they suspected fraud they could have just refused the sale instead of calling the police and having him hunted down like a dog. At least he is still alive though.

Yes but then the headline would have been "store refuses to sell belt to teenager because he is black"

I had to goggle to see what all the hoopla was about, as I had never heard of one.

Evidently they are popular with some Rap artist.

At least he is holding them up. If he wasn't people would be complaining about that. Can't win

Better that than black teen gunned down for buying a belt with his own money.

Rap stars are not the only ones wearing diamond and sparkly belts. Country and rock singers do to.

How do you know he wasn't copying off of his favorite country singer or rock group? All blacks don't listen to straight rap. I don't.

I have no clue. The belt maybe all the rage with the duck dynasty set. I had never heard of it before.I goggled it and it returned pictures of the pictured rap star.

I am sure not all blacks listen to rap or why that even came up.

P.S.speaking of country Music stars, did you know one of the biggest country stars today is a black guy. Not sure how that happened, everyone knows a black man can not get ahead in a white dominated industry..

If you're talking about Darius Rucker, you're exaggerating a bit. He's doing good, but to call him one of the biggest country stars is a stretch.

This kid from the picture I saw looked like a normal teenager, he had a hat on and a shirt. Why does this scream criminal?

Cool belt!

No way will this kid win- he might get a few dollars from an out of court settlement if he is lucky. Don't f¥ck with NYPD!

A statement belt like this is actually a good investment. Accessories make a look.

They would just find something else to hate on him for. Racists always have an excuse.
