Happy New Year

AKEMASHITE OMEDETOU GOZAIMASU!

loosely translated Means "The year is changing... darkness gives way to light... new life begins... Congratulations!"

ake-vi.jpg

"AKE" = "sun" + "moon" = "bright"... "change"... "dawn"

How do you say Merry Christmas in Canadian? j/k :)

Merry Christmas, eh?? :P

LOL! My students asked me, when I told them that Joel is from Canada, if I had learned to speak Canadian. OMG, I thought I would pee in my pants I laughed so hard (after the buses loaded of course).

Merry Christmas, eh!
