Can a family member go to SLEC to help with kids 7 & 9 years old?

Hi all,

My Fiance will be going to SLEC on November 3rd and she has 7 & 9 year old boys that won't sit still for long if not watched. I'm paying to have her Brother go with to Manila for the SLEC and get her to interview but not go inside embassy. So can her Brother go into SLEC to help with the kids as I know it will be very difficult otherwise.

Seems I have read of the embassy letting someone accompany and assist with the children before...

Hopefully some that have actually done it will respond.

During my medical, one of the applicants had a toddler with her (probably 8month-old). She was able to bring her mom to assist her inside SLEC. Not sure though with 7 & 9 year-olds.

Aside from contacting US embassy as Hank said, you could also call SLEC just to be sure. Hotline: (02) 521-0020 , (02) 521-8647 , (02) 523-8248. PI daytime. Maybe easier if you can ask your fiancee to call them.

Yes, she can bring someone to accompany her with the children.
