Hello,

I have been in Georgia working as a volunteer for 2 years. I am confused with the affidavit of support.

I still consider my home address to be in the USA. Is it wrong to use my US address or do I need use my current address in Georgia?

I make basically nothing here and do not make enough to file taxes. Is there any particular format I should use for the letter explaining why I dont have my last tax return in the USA?

I have looked over the sample letter for proof of domicile and I really do not have much evidence other than an active bank card. Will this be a problem? Is there any other things I can write? Should I show my volunteer contract that ends in December here in Georgia also?

Any help would be appreciated

You have to show that you can support your spouse. If you have no employment you will have to find a co sponsor or you will have to come to the US first to find a job to cover the affidavit of support

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

You are always the primary sponsor even if your income is 0 ( they will come after you first in the future if they need to ) For any single immigrant you can only use 2 sponsor ( one of which is you ) the other sponsor could join household income but you can have two other sponsors

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.
