Hi everyone,

I was given this form with instructions to register with Aramex and have created an account. I have keyed in my personal data & MRV visa receipt number, and specified the pick-up location to be at Sim Lim Square. However, I haven't come across a confirmation page, and am stuck at this page titled "Schedule Consular Appointment" which only has a 'Back' option. There isn't a local number given for Aramex, and so I would like to know if I'm on the right track.

Thank you for advising!

You shouldn't be getting the 'schedule consular appointment' number... Dial the 800*** number for Aramex.. That is a toll-free international number (at least, that is what I really really hope (wiki says it is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Telephone_numbers_in_Singapore) 'cause I was on the phone twice with Aramex. You might have to wait a long time, depending on whether the call agent is in a call...

Review on aramex hotline:

The guy who (I think) attended to me both times I called is friendly and easy-going, but also has a tendency to say "Not to worry" and other placating lines. Double-check that you have got whatever you wanted from the call, because they are liable to make mistakes too (I had to call them a second time because they thought they solved my password-reset issue the first time, but they did not.

Agreed, it's best to call them but if all your info is in and correct (contact info/case number) you should be set. Now watch the CEAC website, on our case it went from "Ready" to "Administrative Processing" for a day or two then "Issued" about a week later. https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?

For the record, I never did receive a text from Aramex although I did get a notification email. I actually didn't need it because I had called up their Changi Aramex HQ to ask if my passport would be arriving the previous day. They are much more knowledgeable than the ones at the call centre. So for those who want their passports back as quickly as possible, be persistent in talking to the right folks and you can get your visa in hand in less than a week from the interview! :)

Also can I ask what is MRV number? Is it the 8 digit receipt number when we paid for the K1 visa at Standard Chartered?

Sorry I'm so confused! Really need help sad.png

Yes, MRV number is the StanChart receipt number. I had the same issue with the online registration, the call centre helped me to resolve it: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/463628-singapore-k1s/?p=6706923

Thanks so much for your help kitthekat! You are always very helpful. good.gif

I didn't have a back button at that last page. So I just went til the page that shows my receipt number and clicked home then logout. I hope it works! The people on the aramex hotline are very unhelpful and their 800 number no longer works.

Hi,, would like to ask if your one way ticket or round trip. Thanks

You can do either. If you are getting a round trip ticket, be sure to cancel the return leg after you have arrived in the US so your name isn't mistakenly left on the flight manifest for that flight.
