Widows 8.1 upgrade and IE 11 help

I just upgraded to win 8.1 it came with IE 11. I had no problems with cutting and pasting with windows 8 and ie 10 but for the life of me I can't figure this out now. Any advice would be great.

are you talking about copy paste into the address bar? ya i had issues on that even with ie 10. which i only use for some sites. even CTL C and V wouldn't work. i had to copy , paste in notepad then recopy / paste into the address bar of IE. i have no idea why the program is so retarded but meh. i pretty much only use it when i have to lol. Chrome FTW.

Not in the address bar, in this reply window. With ie 10 I just had to make sure it was in compatibility mode and it worked but that didn't help with ie 11. I don't know I just can't seem to like chrome.
