help with i864 and ds230 needed urgently..

first of all i got to say I'm excited to find such a helpful site..

brief introduction:

I'm 19, and got approved already and it is my dad who filed for i and my younger brother....

we filled ds3032 sent to us by nvc and registered my dad as our agent then he paid Aos fee iv fee then he sent in 1864 to nvc... Now my questions are 1. are we supposed to get any response from nvc after sending the affidavit of support to them? 2.is it ok to scan and send a copy of the ds230 i filled to my dad so he can snd to the nvc? or can hesign on my behalf because i sent a copy of the ds230 to him through a Ems and its almost two weeks now and he hasnt got it.. i wud really love ur help pls as i have asked for help on this question somewhere else and no response till date.. pls help me with whatever advice you have.. the ds-230 has an 'original signature ' requirement on it, so scanninng and emailing it in to yer Dad, then having him print it out,

won't be acceptable at NVC.

if he paid the fee for the I-864, then he possibly downloaded and printed the coversheet , and sent off the I-864 pack into nvc.

re: DS-230 payment (IV FEE PAYMENT) - it's available to be paid, at the online web portal, once the DS-3032 is added to the casefile. There's a coversheet here, as well, for him to download and print.

ask yer Dad to call in to NVC, and ask for casefile status, asking which things have been added to the casefile already.

usually, about 5 days after the I-864 is added to the casefile (and reviewed) a checklist letter is emailed out to your Dad, referencing the IV Set (DS-230 + civil docs). Usually. If he did not give over email addresses early on, then NVC not email him anything, relying instead on postal notifications. Postal notifications are batched up, sent out from NVC, but it's not a 'timely' thing, at all.

sending it to ur dad thru ems is d best way,call ems and let them track the document for you. When ur dad receive it he would wait for nvc next instruction which is d iv fees and after dat he can now mail ds230 to them.

we have paid d iv fees already and sent i864, just wating on ems to deliver my ds230.. @darnell he added his email address and stil got no email.. mayb he wud just call dem den.

NB: we have printed coversheet and stuffs all we have left to do is send ds230 and supporting documents.. tanx a lot..
