I'm so disappointed that after 30 days, USCIS has not sent out our case to NVC. Just got a response from our inquiry with NVC stating that they don't have it yet. We got approved sept. 23 by the way.

Will NVC really contact USCIS on our behalf to find out the whereabouts of our case? Should i rely on that and just wait?

Did you call today. Because i have been waiting and ours was approved Sept. 11 and there gave me a case number today and the received it on the 18th of OCT. I thought mine was lost too.

Thank you for the response! We have not made a phone call this week. But we did call NVC last week. I just panic when i read that email from NVC and thought it got lost too. So i guess, its pretty normal these days that USCIS dont send it right away to NVC.

By the way, were your case also from CSC? Congrats that you now have your case #!

Yes. The NVC will contact USCIS on your behalf. They will send you another email to let you know what they find out.

Thank you! That gave me relief. But would you know how long is it gonna take for NVC to contact Uscis and get back to us with another email?

Question: So they told you that they don't have your file yet when you called last Friday. Then you called today and now they have it? Did they give you a Case Number? Thanks.

Don't worry, you are not the only one!

We got our NOA2 (approval) 3 months ago and the NVC still has not received our case...yet the USCIS supposably sent it out 2 months ago...

I hope you will hear from them soon! smile.png

Wow, 3 months ago? an I-129F has valid up to 4 months. If I were you, I am going to inquiry them why took so long USCIS sent the petition to NVC.
