I posted this before and got little response. I'm getting a bit nervous and desperate.

Firstly, do we need to submit our documents in advanced to the VFS? Do we need to sign up for something online?

What's the difference between packet 3 and 4? Which one do we need?

Lastly, can someone please confirm what we need to take with us? We are planning to do a bit of backloading.

- Filing papers (I-130, DS 230, Updated I-864, etc)

- Papers from medical appointment

- Photo album

- Family letters

- Civil documents (birth certificates, etc.)

- Communication sent back and forth

- Western Union logs (I am not agreeing with this one)

- $165 and courier fees

- DS-2001? Packet 4?

- DS 230 part 2

What is DS260? Is it not applicable to me since we applied (over) 2 years ago?

What is DS2001?

Am I missing anything?

You don't need to send anything to VFS if you already submit your documents to NVC. If you still want to find out more then please contact via email or live help. http://www.ustraveldocs.com/in/in-main-contactus.asp

Beneficary should carry copy all documents that you submitted to USCIS, NVC and during this whole process because sometimes they ask for documents again especially I-864 Affidavit of Support, Take Wedding albums, medical Report, PCC(if you haven't submitted to NVC), Interview Letter, and make sure you signup for pickup/delivery of passport on http://www.ustraveldocs.com/in/ because on your interview date you will be asked to submit confirmation page that you get during signup for pickup/delivery of your passport.

DS260 is a replacement of DS-230 form. This was been introduced from Sept 1, 2013. You need to make sure by login into https://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx and if DS-260 is showing pending then you are required to fill it out and submit it online. 90% of questions are similar to what you filled in DS-230. Once you submit DS-260, you print confirmation page and as well as whole form just incase if they ask you at your interview.

Please go through this pdf: http://photos.state.gov/libraries/mumbai/395145/pereirals/IV-PK4-Information-Sheet-28052013.pdf

Best of Luck!!
