So I recived case number today. But in the e-mail with my and my fiance personal information there is also this:

This petition is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. You will be notified with further instructions when the processing is complete.

IS this ok? Or is this possiable that I woulkd be in AP? If yes, how long may it take?

I hope it is normal process and they will just send my case to embassy.

Could be AP. We were in AP on a K1 at NVC. We didn't get a letter to tell us that, but perhaps now days they have got around to that. We found out by calling them.

It used to take weeks, nearly eight in our case, but lately they seems to be sending them off in under two weeks, or around that time frame.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Good to hear that, you are lucky. If i may ask, when was your petition approved?

Ours was approved on August 27, but still no case number. So bad!

My NOA2 is sept 10. I have my timeline updated.

I'm only woried now to not be under AP... That would be so bad and then I would be unlucky :P But I don't think I have something bad in my peroson or my fiancee to be processed deeper... I don't know what is the purpose of AP though.

When did you receive an email? I received our case number last Wednesday and it's still "at NVC." I talked to one woman this morning that said it was going through additional processing then another woman this afternoon said it was normal but I have not received an email or letter.

I recived an e-mail today. Hm... maybe now more cases will go through administrative processings... We get fast approvals now, so maybe USCIS would miss something and NVC has to check it again?

I don't know yet if my fiance recived e-mail from them. I recived cause I was inquiring. And we never called them.

Maybe you will get the letter soon. Post goes few days.

EDIT: now it shows IN TRANSIT. So does that mean my case was send?

Your case is in transit to the Consular Section. Your interview date was provided to you by the National Visa Center.

Maybe I made a panic from nothing :)

I don't receive answers quickly when I email them. I called twice and the first lady said additional processing and the second lady said it was normal that they were just reviewing it but there was no additional or administrative processing with it.

Don't know who to believe. I just want it to be in Germany. Our NOA2 took 37 days and the case number took 6 weeks. Can't they just let the consulate do their duties and ship the stupid package! LOL!
