Hi everyone.

We got NOA2 approval on August 22nd through California center, it's been almost 9 weeks and my American boyfriend hasn't heard anything from NVC yet. Do we need to start worrying? When should I get package 3 ? How many more weeks/months before the interview ?

I am hoping to get my visa before Christmas. Is it possible or pure utopia? I am getting really impatient as my boyfriend and I have a 6 month old baby who hasn't seen her Daddy for 3 months. I am praying to be reunited with the father of my child at Christmas. Is there still hope ?

Good luck to you all and thanks for your replies :-)

No, I haven't called them. Should I ? What is their number ? Can I email them ?

I called this number: +12024857600. Call is quicker rather than waiting email response from them. Good luck. Ask your case number by providing your receipt number of your I-129F.

Since you are in 9 weeks mark, after you've got your case number then call or email the embassy ask if they have your case or not.

Hello everyone :) i am Tin a beneficiary from the Philippines. i have the same problem about the forwarding of the approved k1 visa petition to the NVC, our petition was approved last September 9, 2013 and up to now we haven't received a notice that the NVC already received our approved petition. We feel we are waiting for so long. I was researching about what to do, it has been 43 days from the approval of our petition. I have read that it is ok to call the NVC after a month from the approval date. I called the NVC (+16033340700) just a few minutes ago, the line was busy at my first few try, but i tried till the operator answered. The call waiting was a bit too long but i patiently waited till a specialist answered my call. He asked our receipt number and our names and birthdays. I asked if the NVC received our approved petition for k1 visa and he answered that our case was just forwarded to the US embassy of manila yesterday, i asked if it is possible to know our case number and he answered yes. He gave to me our case number. I am very lucky i called them just in time.

I called NVC today and spoke to a very nice man who told me NVC had received our petition on Oct.3 and forwarded it to Paris on Oct.7. He gave me our new case number and I checked it on the Department of State website : it says that it's ready!!! So I should hear pretty soon from the US Embassy. I'm now waiting for package 3 to arrive in my mailbox. There is hope!!! I might be reunited with my fiancé at Christmas!

Good luck everyone, and thank you Girl From Celebes!
