Hello Vj!

I just want to share everyone that after having our interview (actually husband) today our ceac status is already ISSUED!!!! Now i can actually breathe!!!

First off i was a lil down after the interview because we weren't sure if it was approved or not, we asked the American Consul if we passed and all he said was just as long as everything goes thru then its okay... I was like thinking in my head what is that suppose to mean?? Ok okay let me just start off from the beginning hehe..

We left at 1am and got to Manila probably at 5am. We parked at Chowking and ate our breakfast& at around 5:30am we started walking to the US Embassy Manila... Line was already loooong, but we had an advantage ( we had our 2 y/o son) with us so we guard let us in with the 6:15am appointment, ours was 6:30 btw. Probably got inside the embassy around 6:30. Husband had to go thru a different door which is the Immigrant door and we had to go thru the American Citizen, with that being said husband got our lucky number 5004.

As you all may have read numbers are called in random order, it does not matter if you were first in line. LOL Husband even though his number was skipped since 5005 5006 were already being called, Haha!! I told him to relax and that they call the number randomly.. Husband was busy looking at the screen for his number to pop out and of course i was busy running back and forth since my son was running all around the embassy, if any here had their interview today as well im pretty sure you guys know who this lil boy was! LOL

Anyways after 30mins or so, 5004 flashed window 50. First Interview Filipino Consul wasn't really approachable didn't even smile and i dont even remember her saying Hi. hehe.. I think husband got nervous because he got intimidated by her.. but these were the questions asked: Who is the petitioner, How/when did you meet, Wife's address, whats our plan when we go to the US, etc.. she asked my husband a lot of question in which i dont know the rest because she told me to sit down since our son was having tantrums from all the waiting...she also got the NBI,CENMAR,certificate of marriage,,birth certificate& I-864(mine) & our co-sponsor.. was told to pay the visa fee which is $230 then had to go back to her window and asked more questions.. thats when she told me&my son to go and have a seat haha!!

After that next was biometrics, the fingers being scanned, husband was just asked to place 4 left fingers then 4 right then the thumb fingers, was asked for birthdate and such.

then sat back down and final Interview with the American Consul, he looked asian probably chinese not too sure, but anyways..Told my husband to raised his right arm and say the DS-260 oath..then he asked me(petitioner) what's my name, and where was our son birthplace, he also asked how many children do we have and i said just this one since i was carrying my son, he laughed cause he taught there was another baby on my sons stroller but there wasnt.. then he asked my husband where do we intend to live in the US, who lives in that address& if he's ever been outside the country.. He then gave the pamphlet about domestic violence then he said ok that is have a sit and they'll call for your name..

I then said to my husband ask him if you're approved, but consul just said just as long as the papers are done then its fine.. so i was like,..umm ok hahaha! still was unsure though if it was or not. i wanted to hear the "Your visa is approved" but obviously did not hear that.

After that sat back down and then waited for our names to be called. This is the releasing are part... THis was the longeeeest wait ever for me it was. lol.. After mins of waiting, husband's name was finally called at window 71. She just asked if he has taken the oath finger prints and if he filed out the DS-260 and husband said yes. Then she said, ok you guys can go home...& I was like ok asked her if its approved or not lol.. So husband asked again if it was, and she said just wait for it...( She seems to be in a hurry)

So went out of the embassy feeling a lil down haha!! I mean who wouldn't feel sad not knowing if it was approved or not, but reading a few entries how some was not informed that they were approved, actually did got approved gave me a lil hope.

Okay okay moving along. at around 330pm i checked on ceac to see if there's any changes on my husband's visa. and it says case updated :Oct 22nd 2013 and the status was READY... so i was like okay,.. atleast thats a good sign haha! So right after we got home from a 4-5 hr drive, checked CEAC again and viiiola!!!!!! i see "ISSUED" !!!! Omg we got out at around 10:15am from the Embassy and around 5pm status is already ISSUED!!!

SOOOO HAPPY !!!!! GOD IS GREAT ALL THE TIME!! Thanks to all who have helped me out throughout this visa journey!!! God bless everyone!!! & GOODLUCK TO ALL!!!
