Bro,how many pictures should i take with me at interview?

Is it okay taking photo album?

I took 56 photos, some with single shots like me only than my wife only, most of them us together, than both of us with family, than some with at least one of us in the picture with family, than some group family pictures, some with invited guests having food. I also took some pictures showing them that we were together at some point before and after wedding, better go there prepared.

Basically, I tried to show a good overview of the wedding and reception in photos. Hope this helps, Thanks good.gif

Please keep us posted, if you are male had the interview in Dhaka embassy, got approved and received the visa in hand.

Because then you would be an exception (extremely rare) bypassing the AP.

Heartiest congratulation and glad you made it through in a short period of time. I am sure there were stress, worry, ceoncerns and probably nightmares but at the end you probably won't remember those bad times. Enjoy, keep dancing and get ready for POE.

Best wishes for you two :-))

Sorry forgot to mention don't take albums, just take your photos out of album, it's easy for the IO to review them and saves time for you too, select best shots from the albums showing you two than families etc. Should be like the whole wedding or ceremonies at a glance for the IO,prepare in that manner. good.gif

SHALONE: what xtrasome is saying that when you present the pictures have them in a way so it creates a story, a sequence in the IO's mind. The IONwho ha no clue about you is making some judgement (one of many) based on what you are saying and what you are presenting. If they are consistent and the pictures creates an impression to them, that shoul be enough. Whether you take prior pictures or not may not be relevant ( or could be) depending on the visa type you are applying for. It's all matter of how you are presenting your story. Not sure if is making any sense but you can never be certain with the embassy and should always prepare the best possible way. If your story is how you met your wife and how you ended up together, great!! Take them as it makes perfect sense. You have to be confident with it.

No hard cover album as you will slide it under a small semi-circular area. No metallic album or metallic obejct in there as metal detector will not allow them. Put them in order in plastic cover albums (not too thick) or even clear plastic zip-lock bags.

Finally be as positive as you can and be prepared for anything.

Good luck

Thanks Bro.Another information please...

Me n my wife were friend before marriage n we have some pictures of that period.Should i take some pictures of that period?

I think hellraiser explained it very well. I will try again smile.png

We are same as you friends than lovers than couple rolleyes.gif . So they will ask you for your marriage pictures or pictures in general so you can organize them in a way that it shows the whole story...like start from when you met than marriage pictures than honeymoon etc.

If not than just take two sets of photos one showing whole marriage ceremony another showing other events in your life, better be prepared. good.gif

First of all Thank You for all your good wishes.

Yes I am male, had interview in Dhaka, got approved and now visa in hand.

I know it's kinda rare as far as I followed on my interview day and today when I went to pick up my passport; I see only me and another guy got approved, other males got AP. So yes Alhamdulillah feeling lucky for that.

I did two extra things what normally people don't do.

1. I was in UK for 4 years so I had to wait for UK Police Clearance(PC) but I thought it will be trouble and time consuming to send the UK and BD PC to my spouse. That's why I sent all my original civil documents from Bangladesh directly to NVC. Normally people would submit scan copies or photocopies and later present the originals in interview.

2. I sent 12 emails to Dhaka IV email address, I asked them every tiny little questions I had in mind. Explained all our future plans and even asked for their suggestions in certain matters. Me and my wife we both did ask a lot of questions most of them were silly and they were very nice and polite replying in every 2 days, so I think that was one positive side showing them we are really working together and we have a tight relation not sure though if it helped them to make the decision in our favor.

Thanks for all your support and I will try to follow this forum and help others if needed so see you around.
