Hi Callina,

Thanks for the quick reply.Really appreciated.

It would be great if you could post the link from the USCIS page bacause when I am broswing through the USCIS web page it showes the XML file with out formatting, bad programming!! the link I tryed is below

http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/men...614176543f6d1a/

and details to get there:-

http://www.uscis.gov/

first I go to :- Services & Benefits and on the left side "Field Officies" link then I select "O" for Oregon and click "Oregon - Portland District Office" which pop up with Related Links under this "Designated Civil Surgeons"

just curious to know which link works for you,

Take care and love.

Don't worry if the above-mentioned address doesn't work. There is something wrong with the new version of the USCIS website, as many other VJ members have noticed. Many links are broken. When I first tried to get to the list of designated civil surgeons, I got an immensely long address, which at first led me to some XML files, as it happened to you.

Hi,

be sure to call all of them. Some might try to sell you the whole package again. Do not pay more than 50 Dollars. Good luck.

I have seen serveral posts lately about civil surgeons. Maybe we can get the captain to add a sub-forum to the AOS forum that would list civil surgeons that members have had good luck with or really back experiences. I know it is a pain to try and call around and find one that isn't going to change the rules once you get into the office. Even with the one I took Claudeth to he wanted to add all sorts of extras on just doing the supplemental. Anyway, just an idea!
