Were the taxes full copies or transcripts? Are you really close to the poverty line?

She didn't make the line because she didn't have the necessary documentation. Send in either a complete tax return or a tax transcript and you will be all set.

What tax stuff did you send before?

Did you send a complete copy of her return before, or an IRS transcript? It must be one or the other. You cannot for example, just send the 1040 or the W-2. It has to be all forms, schedules, W-2s and/or 1099s, OR a free IRS tax return transcript. She also needs to provide proof of her current income with a letter from her employer and/or most recent pay stubs. They often state the sponsor did not meet the requirement if no proof of current income was sent to begin with.

I sent the copies that ahe emailed to me. I forgot about the employment letter, we only sent two pay stubs. I was only short by less than 3000. Now Im thinking if i should sent my brother just in case.

What did she send you? She probably didn't have the right things. Did you look it over?

You can't have 2 co-sponsors, so fix your sister's paperwork.

AOS for my husband
