Trying to get a interview scheduled

We just submitted the DS-160 and then we tried to pay the fee and schedule an interview appointment but it said there are no Appointments available at this time. So what do we do? and how long does it take to get one scheduled? this is so disappointing we thought we would be getting a interview date so I can schedule my flight. Does anyone have any information on how we can get this interview scheduled??? I am lost on what to do next.

Yes, this is a regular problem. Keep trying everyday, twice a day. I waited a week before i was able to get one, some people have waited longer. Best of luck. i know how frustrating this is. so near and yet it seems so far. ........

I am checking all through the day, still no luck. I hope we are lucky like you and get one soon. Guess i just need to breath and wait, what else is one to do!!!!!! Congrats on your approval,.... have you got your visa in hand? how long does that take? Can you give us any pointers? Sorry of all the question but we are excited and want everything to go smooth.

Hey Baklava my case completed at NVC but no interview date yet so do i need to call US Ankara embassy for schedule an interview or nvc is going to set a interview date? any info?

K1 is different. K1's have to make appointment on line for Ankara. Married applicants get their date from Ankara. We are spending our 5th day together in USA!!!. Our appointment took almost 3 months to get ( see timeline)

Visa came 4 days after interview.

My advice is keep trying.for the appointment time to open..

Took me 2 weeks on line to get the appointment I got 11/7 and I made it on August 14. Very busy embassy. My flight to turkey is November 19. Almost time. Waiting sucks for sure.

Good luck keep trying early morning is best. Or if u in the USA then late out time early turkey time.

Yikes!! Our paperwork is en route to Ankara. My fiancé is Iranian, so we could have also gone to Armenia or UAE. I hope we didn't make the incorrect choice.

It is done!!!!!!!

I scheduled his interview Friday night. I got on thinking there would be no appointments and to my surprise BAM..... soooooo he has his interview on January 7, 2014..... Feels good to have that part of the process done and now to move forward to the next.

We have 95% of it done and he should be sending it off to the Embassy next month then we can breath for a while.... but only for a while!!!!!! Then once it gets closer to the interview date the nerves, stress and excitement will return......

im going to divert from the topic but since you said you wanted to book your flight there, I assumed you want to be there with him during the interview. If that is the case, you know you cant just go in there all freely, right? You need permission from the embassy, and you need to show the letter of admission to the guard at the door with your information so they'll let you in, otherwise its going to be a heck of a wait for you outside embassy while he is in there. I just wanted to throw this out there so you wont get caught of guard when the time comes and you can take the right steps to accomplish that, just incase that is what you want.

Yes i was aware of this, I am going for support and i will stay in a hotel and wait for him while he interviews. I am going to fly out before the interview and spend time with him and his family then go to Ankara and do the interview then fly back home.

Can you give us any other advice on what they will ask or want during the interview. I understand that all interviews are not the same but just a little insight would be great.

So how are you guys doing? We can't wait till we are where you are now. Keep me posted please

Just read your post on the other topic and i really am happy that everything is going well. I just dream of the day we are together here in the States, it has been over 2 years for us since we met and now the days are starting to drag and i think because it is getting closer to our dreams coming true.

Where are you located if you don't mind me asking?
