August 30, 2014: Green card arrives in the mail!!!

April 27, 2016: Sent 300 page ROC packet to VSC via overnight mail
May 16: Check shown as charged online, received NOA 1 dated April 29
June 20, 2016- Biometrics
April 28, 2017: Approval
May 4, 2017: Approval letter arrived

I have learned one thing today, never call USCIS, they only make you more mad. I asked them about the transfer news and they said they are, but not everyone is being transferred. And if you are expected to get transffered, you should get a noticed within 30 days. UGHHHHHH, I might as well keep up to date from this forum than call them. They only get you more upset. And they say the current processing time for any I-130 is October 2012, YES 2013...which means, it takes 1 year to get approve...this is crazy

So did they transfer ALL files up to the end of July, from Overland Park and Lees Summit? Our 130 is in OP, and 129f is in Lees Summit. But haven't received any updates about being transferred. Nothing is ever straightforward with USCIS!!!!!! UGHHHHH!!!

I found out about the USCIS workload, I filled my mom's petition on May 21st and it's been 5 months now.

I was planning to expedite the petition due of my daughter's autism diagnosis. I left my job to stay home for my daughter's in-home ABA therapy. We are having tight budget but not extreme finacial lost so I decided to wait.

I checked the status online but still not even touch, do you think that it's advisable to seek for our congressman or senator's help while it's not yet touch or transfer? Or it's better to wait until they transfer my case?

Thanks for the help.

**** She could have the interview as early as Jan 7th but decided not on the rush for medical and for me to have time to forward all the document in the Philippines since I didn't pay or submit anything at NVC

No emails or texts for me yet (late feb filer)unsure.png .. At least if my file is transfer I will know it is not lost,and or sitting under stacks of paperwork on someones desk!

Wishing for ANY update or movement of my file right nowwhistling.gif I agree with KN8807A ,not going to bother calling them and getting myself re-pissed..lol

I probably know more then they do about whats going on.. ahhh like someone else stated .. then next few weeks are going to be interesting..

10/22/13 - Walk-in biometrics successful (Columbus OH office) - DAY 16
11/14/13 - Form i-485 status changed to "Test and interview" - DAY 39
11/22/13 - Expedited AP and EAD approved!! (EAD status changed to "card production") - DAY 47
11/30/13 - Received combo card and two copies of paper AP (weird) - DAY 55

1/31/14-Rejected Green card because I forgot to mention a previous J1 visa that will require a waiver to apply for an immigrant visa...

i called USCIS regarding the transfer, makes me more upset and disappointed because their answer was Not all the case are going to transfer! its up to NBC.. This is so suck.. another thing the NBC currently processing the october 1,2012 that means it takes a year to get approval.. why in this world so slow. while some petitioner get lucky .. they received approval right away...

all most all Dec filers have been approved, yours seems to be so unique case. ( atleast in my opinion, do not intend to offend any one)

Alright I'm writing my congressman again. And am going to ask him to check up on my case again. It's been another month and with this new update and all. Who knows. He was useless the first time, but meh. Better than just sitting around I guess?

Better than ours - we filed the disclosure agreement and then never heard from them again. Useless!

im feb 27th filer.. NOA1 received March 1st .. got updated message this morning file was sent to local office.. No processing time available for local office as far as I can see... should i be calling the local office now or scheduling info pass? Is it ok to schedule info pass when nothing has been approved and husband is currently out of status..in the U.S .. he came in legally on F1
