You are a March 2013 filer. If that is so then that is a 14 month processing time! #######, I am so confussed!!!

I was told the entire process from intial filling of the I130 to the day that my wife joins me in the US would talke a total of 12 months.

Now I am reading that I130 processing time is take 14 months!

And who did you guys call? When I called USCIS they would answer any qestions on processing time

I talked to Tier 2 officer, but what I have seen from other responses that you can not trust any information they give us. Everyone is getting different answers from them. All we can do is wait and hope it will not take that long, it's just insane to imagine living away from my wife for that long.

This is really really bizarre. F2A's are able to call their spouses quickly or on equal timeline.

whats the point of Immediate relative of US citizen then..

totally beats me.

Hello,

I filed my I-130 on February 28, my case was not even touched until Yesterday 10/22. Last night I received an eNotification saying that my case was being moved to another USCIS office, and this morning received another one saying that it has been transferred to my local office. Not sure what this means, but for me it makes me feel better that they at least touched my case after 8 agonizing months.

Just hang in there, USCIS is really backed up after they had to reduce personnel due to the government shutdown. I'm just hoping that we all get everything done soon. :)

Waiting to file...
