It took approx 30 days or so before mine got to the NVC... I heard you should try calling them every day until they get it. I waited a while though before I called to check up on the progress and the day I called they said they received it that very day, hah. Shortly thereafter it was forwarded to my Fiance's consulate. His consulate got it within 1-2 days and they immediately sent the packet 3 to his house. I heard it takes a while longer when filing with the California embassy... seems to be between 25-45 days or so, if not more. I'd say keep calling them to check. Couldn't hurt? =)

oh really good for you.

we just call NVC or DOS maybe 2-3 times a week and sometimes we cant get in.

i hope so yah thats what we will do call NVC everyday starting this week..hihi

thnx for the infos..

I am still way long to go.Mine was approved on October 11, 2013. I did call DoS once after some VJer complaining the number wasn't work just to tested it. But it worked actually and in a single call went through and talking to one of their visa specialists. I think you guys should called them to find out.

As I am reading so far here, after you got your case # and forwarded to embassy the processing move so fast. So I am probably need to gather documents for the interview by now though according to NOA-2 my I-129F valid until February 10, 2014. Wish you luck, guys!

oh its okay..my fiance says..good thing comes to those who waits hihihi..

yah actually its better to call DOS...thats what we willl do starting now..call everyday i guess.

thanks for the advice.

yah ure right it moves fast after getting the case number...

thanks so much...

God bless us all..

Hello everyone! I know the wait for your NVC case # is probably driving you crazy but don't worry, it will come. In the mean time, really start concentrating on your paperwork, docs, etc. Once you do finally get your case # you will be surprised at how fast everything starts happening, I know I was.... With that said, it seemed like things almost starting moving 'too' fast especially with me having to send all the signed papers to the Philippines, etc You have to allow plenty of time for stuff like that. You won't have to wait for any packet from the embassy as everything is online for you. All the petitioners tax docs for the last 3 years, etc, etc.... There is a lot of stuff to be getting ready and I've seem many people just sit around waiting for the case # then once they get it they are like 'What do I do now?' Ugh! Don't be one of those people!! Good luck to all!!

For London, if (well, when) our NOA2 expires they'll want to see a notarized new letter of an intent to marry. You'll want to see what yours will want in that case because, chances are, they all vary somewhat!

1/31/13 - 129F Sent
2/7/13 - NOA1
** transferred with 2nd group from VSC to TSC in late June
7/9/13 - NOA2 (5 months)
8/16/13 - Shipped from TSC
9/11/13 - Packet 3
9/19/13 - Forms sent in.
9/24/13 - Medical Done
9/27/13 - CEAC Status Update
10/02/13 - DS-260 mailed in
10/15/13 - CEAC Status Update (DoS couldn't say what triggered it, did say no interview assigned, but all docs are in)
10/23/13 - Embassy email states they do not have our documents. Poor Steven does 160 again.
10/23/13 - DoS says our case is still "processing" and not "qualified" (interview ready) and to do newest forms.
11/05/13 - CEAC Update. DoS says case is "eligible for interview" and we're waiting on next interview date.
11/08/13 - Another call to DoS (Chris is a nice guy!) and no interview scheduled yet.
11/12/13 - Another call to DoS and no interview scheduled yet.
11/13/13 - Email from Embassy to Steven informing him that his interview is TOMORROW.
Hurray for Patron Saint of Immigrants - Mother Cabrini's Feast Day!
11/14/13 - INTERVIEW --- APPROVED!!!!!
11/19 & 11/20 - CEAC date update, but still at "Ready".
11/21 - CEAC Creation Date & Notice Changed.
11/22 - CEAC AP
11/25 - CEAC ISSUED -- yay!!
11/27 - DoS Shipment Notice (email) in AM. Pickup ready email sent in PM.
11/28 - Steven picks up docs from Bridgend - Happy Thanksgiving!
12/15/13 - Arrival in US. POE: JFK. (Heathrow - JKF - Richmond, VA by evening)

I was really hopeful I would see on the USCIS site tomorrow that our petition was sent to the NVC... since our NOA2 was September 11 but since reading other CSC petitions approved before us are still waiting I might just sink back to reality :(

CSC doesn't inform if they send the petition to NVC. So it could be anytime I think.

Our NOA2 is also dated August 27, but till now, we haven't received our case number. We made numerous calls to the NVC and DOS, and they only kept telling us they hadn't received our file from USCIS. They then told us it takes up to 8weeks, so we should still wait. This is the 8week, so we hoping something comes out.

It's really taken a long time, others of the same date have received their numbers long ago, and even done with Interview. Let's keep hoping.

Updates here will also do, let's get each other informed on what happens. Fingers crossed!

NOA2 august 27 and onwards?

do you already have your case numbers?
