My fiance's interview is coming up in a few weeks and we received the k-1 checklist from the Embassy. However, the Celibacy paper (proving my fiance is single and free to marry) was not on the list. I heard from a few folks that it is needed. Does anyone know for sure if this is a requirement? I have emailed the embassy, but yet to hear back.

I appreciate any responses.

Thank you both for your help. I have one last question. The police clearance from intelligence paper my fiancé received notes in one section he can use this for national id, but they didn't write anything about the interview is this normal? I am not sure if there are "different types" of clearances. It has all the stamps and confirms his record is clear and they added a passport sized photo at the top of it.

I appreciate your feedback.

thanks again
