I-131 Application - A few questions...

Hi guys,

I'm currently in the I-485 waiting process. However, mainly due to a mix of naivety and stupidity, I decided against applying for Advanced Parole when sending off my AOS ("Oh I don't have any plans to travel in the next year..." etc etc). And guess what - me and my wife have now made plans to head back to the homeland (UK) for a short 2 week visit, meaning I now need to send off an I-131.

I guess the first thing I want to double/triple check is that I won't have to pay a fee, since my I-485 is still being processed. Is this correct? Also, what evidence is enough to send along with it? Would a back/front copy of my EAD card, along with a back/front copy of my I-797C Notice of Action (for my I-485) be enough? Or would it be wise to send some passport photos (or anything else for that matter) along? I've taken a look at the instructions for the I-131 and concluded that would be enough, but I've always made a habit of checking with you fine experienced folk of VJ as well.

Anything else I need to know for this matter? Or is it a (relatively) simple 'complete document - attach evidence - send to given address - I'll hear back from them in x months' affair?

C'mon, trust yourself... You already gave yourself the answer. Include a Copy of your I-485 app. I -797 NOA1 with your AP app. It is ALL explained in the instructions that you already read!
