Hey guys I have a question that we haven't been able to find a good answer for.

Our k-1 visa case is currently being processed at the nvc so we still have about a month and a half before well have the visa in hand. But the way things are working out, i'll be up in canada with a vehicle that could move my fiances stuff down to the states in a week. Do you guys know if we would be able to move her stuff (which is not very much, you can fit it in a mini-van easily) without having the visa in our hand? Obviously they wouldnt like her moving down and living without any type of visa but if we explained our situation with the fiance visa, do you think they would be ok with it?

We wouldn't want to risk anything but it would save us hundreds of dollars doing it now so we dont have to make another trip at a later date. Any information would be very helpful, thanks.

Most likely you won't be able to move without the visa. After the POE you have 10 years in which to move your items duty free so for the CBP, they don't consider it a rush to move prematurely. (without AP it's highly inadvisable for your fiance/wife to cross into Canada unless she plans on staying as well.)
