So here is the thing. USCIS sent us an update after we received our NO2:

"On October 16, 2013, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed
case to the Department of State for visa processing."

  1. So should we call the NVC or DOS (what is the difference bw the two) or they're gonna contact us?
  2. Who schedule the interview? us or the department of state?

And hey nobody likes waiting right?! so how long do you think it will take till the interview date? One month, 2,3???ClockWatch2.gif

Thank you in advance huh2.gif

Interview scheduling is based on your consulate. You don't have your country or consulate in your profile, so it's hard to give estimates.

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!

First off, take easy, relax, and reading information regarding the country where the beneficiary comes from. I've got same message like yours and out of curiousity I called NVC to found out what it was. One nice guy - a visa specialist- told me to wait up 6 weeks to call them back and get my case #.

I also added friends that their beneficiaries come from Indonesia. I read information about Indonesia consulate. And keep searching, reading, and searching again if you can't find the answers, dead.gifdead.gifdead.gif . Good luck!

study the k-1 flowchart in the guides section.

IMO, yer in for a wait, about 2.5 months, before the casefile hits the IV Unit at the US Embassy.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
