Your avoiding the topic again.

Idle prisoners are not slaves, that is a different topic al together.

Why do you blame whites for slavery more than any other group?

Why not Indians for example?

i'm not avoiding anything.

i can't, however, respond to your questions seriously. they're that stupid.

there is money to be made off of "idle" prisoners. you haven't fully researched the topic.

C. I have no idea idea how to respond to the overwhelming facts you presented, so I will just call you a nut job or insult you and move on, and claim I already answered the question. ( this covers the tin foil hat stupidity

Maybe I need some research on the topic, I welcome any thing you had in mind.

Are whites in prison also slaves and how do we decide who is a rightful prisoner and who is a slave?

huh?

My great great grandmother was Native American Indian and a slave. Sooooooo are you serious?

Well of course I am serious about Indians enjoying the fruits of slavery, in some cases cannibalism too.

But please share about your family history in the matter (if you wish to) it's rather fascinating.

While, it is true that some Native Americans (mixed) did own slaves - this doesn't mean you would hold them responsible for instigating slavery. Natives were repeatedly forced to assimilate to white culture and since at that time, it was legal to own slaves - plantation owners (including some mixed Native Americans) did own slaves.

Not many Native Americans enjoyed the so called "fruits of slavery." You make it sound like they found gold or something,

We all know that Native Americans were killed by the millions by European settlers and many died of diseases. So there were not that many to enjoy the fruits.

My gg grand mom was sold to a plantation in Tennessee around the Mason area sometime in the 1800s when the U.S. started taking land and fighting against the Black Foot Indians. She was given the name Eleanor and my gg grandfather, African man named Charles. There you have the earliest ancestor of my mother's family. From that part of Tennessee my g grand mom moved to Memphis when she was older. She didnt know where her father was from because he was hung in front of her when she was 9. Her mother disappeared after she was 17 no one ever knew what happened to her.

Native Americans kept slaves, from capturing them from other tribes during time of battle or raiding. That's a historical fact, anyone can look it up.

And yes, that was prior to The White Man running em off their native lands.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Yes I know this, but this is not the slavery we are talking about.

Indians and Africans had slaves but not the European way. It was a form of humiliation. There were many slaves who did time and were set free to either stay where they were or go back to their villages.

Oh quite with it.

Many tribes had and exchanged slaves. TO them a Slave was inferior as they came from another tribe, accounts of being taken as slaves are well documented and the experience was brutally harsh. The captives were commonly treated on the level of a dog.

True Indians did not develop a slave trade or "perfect" the system of Slavery but then again they did not build boats of any size and the wheel was also unknown.

It's not that Indians WOULDN"T have loved to developed a prosperous slave trade, they just were not advanced enough in a number of key ways.

PLease show me any evidence that Indians freed slaves as a custom.

It took emancipation to free the Many Black slaves which were held by a number or tribes.

Bet you never saw those Black slaves trudging along on the trail of tears... for some reason that part never made the movie.

what in the world does that have to do with your initial assertion that historically america should be honored for not being the last country on earth to get rid of slavery? dry.png

You've completely gone off on another tangent and please get off your superior white horse. Natives were doing just fine, so stop saying they "weren't advanced enough". According to who? To white, European standards? Again, yes mixed natives occasionally had slaves, isn't that what white people were supposed to do back then? Weren't natives forced to assimilate to white, european culture? Slavery has been around since the beginning of time, everyone knows that, but just please stop defending slavery in the United States and trying to put the blame somewhere else. White europeans took over America and eventually brought slaves over from Africa - it happened, it's a fact. First Nations didn't go over to Africa and enslave human beings based on the colour of their skin and then bring them over to their homeland.
