translating documents to english like birth/army cert. etc

Timeline

when my husband gets his interview does he need to have his personal documents translated into english? And if so can any certified translator do it for us or does it have to be done by the one the embassy uses as our marriage certificate did? Thanks :)

I-130 NOA2 Hard copy received 10/25/2013
NVC Received 11/7/2013

Case Complete at NVC 03/14/2014

Expedite granted at NVC level 03/18/2014

Left NVC for Embassy 03/20/2014

Received by Embassy 03/24/2014

Received Interview date for 05/04/2014 :)

Visa granted 05/04/2014 :dancing:

Translations can be done by anyone competent in both languages. The " certification " is simply a statement signed by them indicating that they are. Type translations in the search block at the top of the page to find examples.

Yes he must translate it or they wont accept it and they would put you in AP to resend documents and god only knows if they will get him our of it once he is in....Check the embassy website and you will find the certified translators.
