Yes, I have a couple times even after being redflagged. I was denied entry for 6 months. When I tried after that time, make sure you bring proof of ties to Canada to show you are coming back to Canada. (letter of employment, lease/mortgage, utility bills, income tax returns for 3 years, etc) Also, if you filed for your fiance visa, show it. It shows them that you are trying to do things legally and aren't an immigration risk. If I hadn't shown them the forms, I don't think they would have let me across.

We've always brought proof of ties, mostly pay stubs, but they've never asked for them nor did any questioning.

How come you were denied 6 months?

I've crossed over for 2-3 months to be with my wife and daughter. It's a B-2 Visa, so legally we can do 6 months. The only thing the IO did was put a solid "return by" date in my passport.

As long as you don't have intentions of living in the US prior to being issued your visa/green card, there's really no reason why they wont let you go...unless of course there are other red flags.

My husband came up to Canada for 36 days easily, but i never went down for more than 10 because of work. I think with good proof of ties it shouldn't be problem.

I have crossed to visit for one to two months many times to visit my husband (at the time fiancé). The only time I had a problem crossing was when I didn't have a return flight because my husband planned to drive me back and visit Canada for a week. They did let me through after asking me the same questions many times and trying to trip me up. After that I never crossed without a return ticket if I was flying. We usually just drove though.

Life is like a roller coaster. Hold on tight and enjoy the ride!

How did your POE go?

Allanah came for ~4 months via land and we were detained for ~1 hour for questioning about incomes/etc. She got a crazy stern lecture about the K-1 visa as well.

The good news is you can do it, the bad news is you're not guaranteed that they can.
