News 4 Jacksonville has unveiled disturbing letters written by Michael Dunn, the 45-year-old Florida man charged with last year's shooting of 17-year-old Jordan Davis. The incident occurred after Dunn, who is white, and the black teen clashed over loud music while in their cars.

Dunn, who says he acted in self-defense and writes that he has a stronger case than George Zimmerman, is set to go to trial in September on first-degree murder charges. Although he paints himself as nonracist, the language in more than 100 pages of letters tell a different story.

"The fear is that we may get a predominantly black jury and therefore, unlikely to get a favorable verdict," he writes in one letter. "Sad, but that's where this country is still at. The good news is that the surrounding counties are predominantly white and Republican and supporters of gun rights!"

“Hate is too great a burden to bear. It injures the hater more than it injures the hated.” – Coretta Scott King

"Oppressive language does more than represent violence; it is violence; does more than represent the limits of knowledge; it limits knowledge." -Toni Morrison

He who passively accepts evil is as much involved in it as he who helps to perpetrate it.

I'm sure there will be a spike in cases like this being how easy Zimmerman got off.

I pray that this time, he actually goes to jail for a long time. If he gets off, it's going to be a sad day.

Yep, but most folks can't. Especially when it comes to stuff like this.
