For two minutes lets just focus on the what the parties did to this boy and not who they are.

I hold his mother the most responsible for putting the wheel in motion for every part of this sad story.

Which is fine, but the problem with the 'explanation' of the wrongs in this story is that its focus is on irrelevancies. The tragedy of the story is not that the mother was single, but that she was incapable of having emotionally mature relationships. The child was not at risk for abuse because he had no father figure but because he was surrounded by adults who did not have the maturity to bring a child into the world and protect and nurture him. The solution is not ensuring that women marry, but that they are not left in ignorance and poverty. If you keep focusing on the irrelevances like the fault being with the mother for not getting married you will not address the cause of the problem and fix it. Sorry Danno, yet another fail.
