So I am considered a full time employee of a global staffing agency and currently am working on a long term project with one of their clients RBS Bank doing marketing and project management. This assignment will end on March 31st and then I will be placed on another project. My salary is great but my question is how should my husband explain this at his interview? And is this going to be an issue? On my employment verification letter it only states my hourly wage. . I know there has been a lot of talk about temporary employment being bad so how do I get around this? I'm sure I'm not the only contractor out there??

Thanks,

BethAnn

Y would your husband speak to them about the

future jobs? isn't the interview in a couple weeks,

get the employment letter now where U work &

leave out next yr March from the conversation...

careful you don't over-process this guy & confuse

him...calm down...quit looking for issues...like I

told you whatever they don't ask him he don't bring

up....chill...its gonna be alright, I understand they

already made a decision B4 one gets there, but some go

and talk themselves into another direction.

So true! Keep calm and just prepare him for the basics. My husband stutters when he's nervous. So, i'm sure this was why he was asked so many questions. I told him to keep brief and to the point. I said, pay attention to the COs body language when you provide answers . If he seems unsettled tell him more - for example, the CO asked if i had any kids. My husband responded with - yes, 2 girls -and stated their names.

Simple and sweet is the key. Remeber questions the COs ask are based on what are on the forms you submit-DS forms as well as I-129F packet. do not worry about anything outside of it.

Thanks guys for the advice. I am giving m y husband a break from the interview preparation for a while since i think he is starting to get overwhelmed. The reason I asked about contract work is because someone said temporary work is looked down upon. Oh well... I have an employment verification letter that says I am currently employed working on a project with a bank. And what my hourly salary is. Period.

if your income is enough the CO may not even ask for it. I sent my husband, then fiance in with a arsenal of affidavit paperwork (W2s, Tax returns (3 years), employment letter, bank letter, paystubs, and birth certificate.) all the CO asked for was the W2's with 2012 tax return. You may be stressing for no reason.
