Change of Address - Impact on Issued EAD? Interview date?

My wife and I were in Florida when our EAD was issued. My work has since taken me to Chicago. If we move, is there any impact on the EAD? Would it have to be reissued? There's no address on it, I assume it would still be OK, but want to be sure.

Since we're waiting for our invitation to interview (I-485 still in Initial Status) does it pay to switch our address or should we keep the Florida one? I guess since we already have her work authorization, it would just delay the GC, which wouldn't be too much trouble for us.. just a longer wait.

What would you do in my situation? Keep our address in Florida and fly back for our interview(s)? Change the address and accept that the GC may take longer (which is no big deal as long as her EAD isn't impacted with the move).

Thanks!!

You might want to see how long people are waiting for interviews in Chicago vs Tampa. You might even get one sooner in Chicago, who knows?

Flights can get expensive and with winter coming, you might get snowed out and miss your flight. If I were you and not needing the green card ASAP, I would do a change of address.

And you are right, the EAD is usable anywhere in the US.

Do you know if changing your address makes you lose your place in queue for an interview?
