The current annual income is what he/she is earning right now, multiplied to make it annual. For example, if he/she is earning 100 per month right now (started working november 1st let's say, and was unemployed all the previous months of 2013), her/his annual income is 1,200 (it does not matter that in 2013 he/she will only make 200), and that's what you put there.

Hello Franciscus,

I am really sorry for asking you a question again. I am really stressful and worried way too much. I didn't mean to disturb you and I am really sorry.

Should his employer wirte his annual salary is 17680 per year or should she write his annual salary will be 17680 per year since he does not get 17680 for this year just because he can work only 5 months for this year. . Which one do you suggest ? And we have got only his 3 and a half months paychecks , not 6 months paychecks. Would that be okay ?

Thannk you ver much

No problem!

1) 3.5 months of paychecks is definitely fine, we were OK with less than 6 months (I think we did 4 months).

2) the specifics of what the employer writes are actually not so important, as long as they don't contradict what the paystubs say. In fact, I didn't even have an employer letter (though I understand that in some cases that letter might be helpful to establish something). In any case, if the employer writes that her current annual income is 17680, that is actually the truth, even if she just worked for one day (yesterday let's say) and made $48.44 (that is, 17680/365). A more important thing I would have the employer to write, if he/she is willing to, is that next year she will continue working there (this is good to show that the source of income will keep on coming from the same place, and again, there's no need to get the emp to write this).
