Hello everyone!

I have a question to people who got their case number from NVC. Did everyone of you got an e-mail with the case numer? Or maybe you got it only by calling them and never recive an e-mail? I wonder if it is just a sense calling case the line is always busy. Maybe it is just better to wait for an e-mail or just send them e-mails with request?

morning - the case number will be sent to you via email, you don't have to email them for it.

In my case - I got the email 2 days after the numbers were generated (I got them on the phone the day they were generated). I couldn't pay the AOS Fee until the day I got the email with the relevant numbers though - so I didn't gain any time by calling. However, it definitely made me happy and I was prepared to pay the fee and send in the AOS package the second I was able to pay the fee online. Good luck!

I got my case number by calling. No email or hardcopy yet but it has only been a couple days. The best time to reach NVC is in the morning at 7:00 EST. You can send them an email also but I would suggest calling. Also if you call in the late afternoon they tend to pick up also. I got my case number at 3:00 PM.
