as the topic, I got gc in last august. can I bring them to America with Green card 2 years? either of them is ok.

Thanks guys

No. You can not bring your mother or sister. A LPR can not petition for a mother or sister. Only a US citizen can petition for a mother or sister.

Once you become a US citizen, you can petition your mother and sister. It will take 1 year to petition your mom. It will take 12 years to petition your sister. There is no way for your sister to come with your mother. They will be petitioned separately.

What aaron2020 said, and instead of waiting long for your sister, once your mother gets a green card, she can file a F2A or F2B ( In case she is above 21) for your sister. This would surely take less time then you filing for her.

If her sister is married and over 21, then this is not possible coz there is no category for that.

She got her GC last August. Her sister is 18. By the time she gets US citizenship and her mother over here, her sister would be over 21.

Mom as an LPR can file for an unmarried child over 21 in the F2b caregory. That's a 8 years wait. If the sister gets married while mom is an LPR, then the F2b petition would fail. An LPR ca never have a petition for a married child (age does not matter).
