Hi i am new and i have a question please help!!!! The last name on my I130 submitted by my husband is different from what is in my passport. On the I130 the last name is( Brown ) in passport last name is Thomas-Brown. What do i write on the DS260 form when i am approved. Someone please advice.

I-130 Sent : 2013-02-22

I-130 NOA1 : 2013-02-27

I-130 RFE : None

I-130 Approved : 2013-11-18

NVC Received : 2013-12-19

Received DS-3032 / I-864 Bill : 2014-01-22

Pay I-864 Bill 2014-01-23

Receive I-864 Package : 2014-01-27

Return Completed I-864 : 2014-02-07

Return Completed DS-3032 : 2014-01-22

Receive IV Bill : 2014-01-28

Pay IV Bill : 2014-01-29

Receive Instruction Package :2014-01-28

Sent DS260: 2014-02-09

Sent DS 260 Package: 2014-02-07

Case Completed at NVC : 2014-03-05

Morning Delisha, the I130 and the DS230 form should have the same information - when you are filling out the document you have to write your maiden name which is Thomas.

Thanks for replying, however I am still uncertain. My husband only used the married name(Brown) at the top of the i130 form. Passport says (Thomas-Brown) Don,t I have to use whats in the official document?
