I came into the state in Nov. 2012 with a DV lottery Visa And I joined the navy in April 2013. Then I applied for fiancée Visa in early September as I got my citizenship through the military in August. My case is still on initial review when I checked with my receipt no. My Questions are:

1. I am E3 with just 7months income from the navy since I joined in april and I haven't spent upto a year in the US. can I be a sponsor of my fiancee or I should find a co-sponsor since I don't have a year or 3year tax?

2.what do they mean by supplying an account statement during interview period? For the military does it mean it is LES (leave and earning statement)

3. Was told that you can never ask for leave when deployed...still in school though for now. And my I-129f application is still underway. What happens if am deployed on sea duty. For those with experience on it, can I ask my command to give me a leave on this or call USCIS for expedite?.....

Thank you. I will appreciate your contributions on this.

I am unsure of how to answer number 1, sorry. We filed CR-1, not sure how different it is and wouldn't wanna mislead you. I hope others will respond.

For 2, yes, your earnings (= LES), income tax, any property statements will be included when you file your Affidavit of Support.

For 3, your commander probably won't approve leave just because of your fiancee's visa application. Your military career now takes precedence in terms of how you plan your schedule and even your family life. If you will have an impending sea deployment, you can ask your command to help make a memo to show USCIS and, eventually, NVC. Formats/templates are available everywhere on this forum. Here's a list of reasons for expediting through USCIS http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=16a6b1be1ce85210VgnVCM100000082ca60aRCRD&vgnextchannel=db029c7755cb9010VgnVCM10000045f3d6a1RCRD

of those differences between us, for it is not difference which immobilizes us, but silence.
And there are so many silences to be broken.”

thanks Ivyanddan... well I think I will expedite once I get to know I am going to be deployed. However like I said, I have never filed a tax before because I just got here last year nov. Navy is my first job started since April... so I hope to get a co-sponsor though incase it is required @ the interview.
