Hello All,

I had my interview October 1, everything was good, but I went to check the online status and it keep saying "Ready", SO i emailed them and this is waht they replied :

" Our records show that the case is documentarily complete, and was passed to an officer for final review and authorization. Visa issuance takes a few weeks to complete, once the visa is issued, the passport will be passed to the courier service for delivery."

Does that means my case is under AP?

Actually you are wrong, if it was approved it wouldn't be under review. The case is under review, in other words administrative review or AP.

But in the interview , the consular officer said you are approved and we will send you the passport with the visa after 2 weeks

Am not trying to argue but no am not wrong but if the case was under AP, It would be updated while his still at the interview because thats how it works.so if the CO decided that it will be issued then its over and if he decided other wise then he would update it so and since it took sometime and its still in ready then its just delayed because of something and they don't want to look bad so they are saying some BS to him/her but they can't do that with DOS so they left it as ready on the website.
