I received the purple letter on June 27 after filed I-751 on June 6 to Nebraska SC. Contents on purple letter are totally confusing. It said something about making a copy of the letter and sent it with the addtional documents. I don't have any addtional documents so I didn't sent anything back to USCIS. I still don't see any NOA for biometric coming and it's been over 6 months now. I call the 1-800 number and they said they can't do anything untill the processing date on website pass June 6.... totally confuse cause on the purple letter said I should contact the 1-800 number if it pass 6 months. Where can I get an answer about my case? or Any one has the same experience as I do?

nancy,

It would be more helpful to know what the words in the letter are rather than what color the paper is.

Hi Yodrak, Here's the content.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Your I-751 has not been reviewed by an Immigration Officer to determine legal sufficiency oreligibility. In order to ensure that the case file is complete when and officer reviews; Please submit the following, if you have not already done so:

- Any documentation relevant to establish your marriage was entered into in good faith.

- Two color, passport style photos

- A photocopy if green card

Make a copy of this letter. If you have moved, write your current address in the blank area to the right of the address above. Mail the package (photo, letter, and any addtional evidence) to:

USCIS Nebraska office

-----

The Service processing goal for I-751 is six months. Your response will assist USCIS and the the NSC to complete processing of your I-751 within this time frame. If you have not received a decision within this time frame, please contact us through the National Customer Service Center 1-800...

I'm not sure if it is necessary, but you could make a copy of the purple letter (hard colour to photocopy!), then send it back with a note on it saying, "all listed items submitted with original application". It may trigger them to check your file when they receive back the letter. I don't know if they have been waiting for it or not, but that is probably what I would do (may end up doing yet:-)) if I had received that letter. Good luck on a decision soon.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

It's a standard form that gets sent to everyone. I wouldn't do anything about it at all (and haven't).
