Yes!! Approved in an hour, out by 8:30am! Unbelievable! Only question she was asked was of our first meeting. Go sit down, her number displayed in 10mins. Next window please. One question asked, sit down again. Out the door 15 mins later. Even easier than CFO! We have been truly blessed!

Update: finally got the full rundown from today's interview.

6:30am

After submitting the required paperwork to security (DS 156 &156k, DS 157, CENOMAR, NBI, and passport) she waited outside of the inside room. Within 10minutes, she was allowed to go inside the main room. (7:10am) Her number was called almost immediately. The first consular was Filipina. The usual questions of what's her name, what's my name, date of birth of both was asked. Then pause, while the consular wrote a bunch of stuff down. after a couple of minutes, the next question was about my 2012 tax returns (which I have not received yet). Rodalyn could not locate my previous 2 years tax returns so she asked the consular to help locate it. The consular asked to see the folder and ended up flipping through all the pages. Then she asked Rodalyn once again about my 2012 tax returns and the answer was given. "Ok. Go sit down". Wow. Easy.

15 minutes later her number was displayed. Her next stop was the American consular who was more interested in Rodalyn's fingernails than anything else. The usual whats her name, whats my name, "I like your long fingernails", where did you meet, "does it take long to grow your fingernails?", "is it hard to type with this fingernails?", "it might be hard to take your fingerprints with such long nails", then "ok, go sit down." Really? No arguments here! Lol

After sitting for 15minutes, her next stop was a younger American consular who could not make eye contact with her. "What's your name, what's your fiancé's name, where did you meet.....ok, go sit down".

Her number was called a 10 minutes later. At the counter she was asked to verify the delivery address. "Ok, you can go now".

Done. 8:35am. Could it really have been that smooth?

We are very very happy but I must say, Rodalyn was a bit disappointed. She had studied that folder for a week and the only question outside her name and my name was where/how did we meet and where are the 2012 tax returns? She was ready to answer any and all questions! Once again, no complaints! More interviewees were surprised that her number was called so quickly every time while they had already waited an hour for the first call.

We have been truly blessed this day! Can't wait to receive the visa!!

Thanks guys!

Already learning waray. Ilocos is far away as Roda is from eastern visayas, Samar. Lol

Well I mean she has to learn Ilocano, that and pidgin, the two official languages of Hawaii.
