Applied for SSN with EAD, now have Green Card. What to do?

My spouse applied for a SSN while she had her EAD at the beginning of last month, but due to the government shutdown it still hasn't arrived. However, she now has her green card.

Do we have to do anything now that she has her green card?

Also, is it possible to obtain her social security number now (not the card, just the number) so we can use it? I've read on here that some people go to their local office and obtain it, but I'm not sure what to ask when we get there.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Disregard this post.

We went to our local social security office today and filled out another application since her status changed to a permanent resident. We were told she'd receive her new card within 2 weeks, and they printed a receipt with her SSN.
