Hello,

I am planning to admit for B1/B2 visa with my mother for the third time !

The first time we got refused because of lack of ties to our home country. ( it was our mistake we didn't know what to show and say )

The second time, we told the consulate officer that:

- I study dentistry in the university for free because I'm a straight A student and I do not want to loose that privilege.

- My mother ( a widower ) has a private work in business but for now she stopped her work.

- We have three properties in our home country and one big property in an another country.

- Bank account in my name and in my mother's name.

And we got refused again for no reason !!!!

I really don't know why this is happening to us and what we should also present for our third time interview ??!!

PS: the reason of our visit to the US is to visit my brother ( not US citizen ) who had married without being in his marriage because of our refusal !! :(

Can you please help us and tell us what to do ?

Sorry that your mother didn't get her visa.

However, your mother was not "refused again for no reason!!!!" There are standards out there which are subjective. The CO determined that based on her circumstances she did not overcome the presumption of illegal immigration.

A US visitor visa is a privilege. It is not a right. No foreigner has a right to a visitor visa. It is a gift from the US government.

How did your brother get to the US? Did he arrive on a visitor visa or other non-immigrant visa and then adjust?

If there is a history of family members using non-immigrant visas to go to the US and then adjust, the less likely that fellow family members will be given non-immigrant visas to visit the US.

State of Syria: Exodus reaches 1 million; seesaw battles rage on

http://www.cnn.com/2013/03/06/world/meast/syria-civil-war/

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
