I sent my IV application package September 6th. Since the ceac.state.gov started operating, our update showed up as "At NVC". It is still like that a month and a half later.

What could be going on? Wasn't our application touched at all? What other updates on ceac.state.gov should I expect for the future?

I'm really hoping it will change soon and they'll schedule my interview for the CR-1 :(

Thanks, everyone. Whenever we call, they still say it's being processed. Don't know what the hold up is about. I'm in a time crunch and it's quite frustrating to see no change in the ceac status page. :(

ya, a supervisor at NVC can see more than the Tele-Operator that answers the phone.

Some pointed questions:

1. was the I-864 reviewed? yes? which date?

2. was the I-864 added to the casefile? yes? which date?

3. was the DS-260 detached and added to the casefile? Yes? Which date?

4. was the DS-260 reviewed yet? yes? which date?

5. what date were the civil docs added to the casefile ?

6. What is the current status of any review?

---

That's it, for now.

Go Get Em, and Good Luck !

Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Thank you, Darnell!

Would you happen to know the waiting period for an NVC expedite? My husband sent his request through email (plus scans of info they wanted) 8 days ago. We haven't even received an email saying they have received it :( Should I be concerned? Or is it too early to be concerned?

eh - turn around goes like this:

petitioner->NVC->petitioner->NVC->IV Unit->NVC->Petitioner

So, if the IV Unit has it (I think they do) then NVC is just waiting to hear an answer back from the IV Unit.

Again, best to use a telephone. CALL. Talk with NVC Supervisor.

Seems like it's not a known fact yet. Even here on visajourney. Surprising really. Nobody responded to my post.

New email to send expedite requests to is NVCExpedite@state.gov

(Will post this everywhere I've posted my query, if you guys don't mind. This important info needs to be known to everyone.)

How do I know? Mine has been expedited. Just awaiting interview schedule now. :)
