I called DOS hotline today and confirmed my case is under "administrative processing" since Nov. 13, 2013. At least, it seems that they are starting to work on my case.

I just got moved under Administrative Processing too.. status just changed this morning... Good, because I was having a bad morning too.. lucky for them..

Usually it means that the casefile is opened and a human at GUZ IV is working the casefile. There's more stuff to do for yet another name check and lobbing over into the scheduling queue.

Once it's in the scheduling queue, it'll get scheduled.

Once it's scheduled, a P4 will be sent out to the visa applicant.

The status on CEAC is still "Ready" since Oct. 4, 2013.

Hopefully, As Noahsmama said, P4 will come soon.

No, I don't think so since the last update time on the status is Oct. 4, 2013. The DOS hotline told me it is under Administrative Processing since Nov. 13, 2013.

gogo, do you know what exact date your status has been changed into AP? I mean not online status but from DOS.

yeah, so we got the same date.. should be.. it seems like they do a big packet at a time then..

so you are in good company.. I'll update this post with any updates I see..

have some unknown questions too.. maybe you can help me search for them...

1) DS-260.. are we supposed to have them? From other posts, people said that they filled it out online and was asked during the interview (some did, some not).. better to have it than not, right?

2) Document Delivery Location (need to register on CGI Stanley website).. did you already do that? I'm going to do that tonight.. I registered account, but haven't registered the cases yet..

She doesn't need to utilize it for any scheduling, so that's a plus.

For EP Casefiles, CR-1/2, IR-1/2/5, there's really only one thing to chase after:

There is a document delivery coversheet there, that must be filled out and generated (makes a pdf file).

That document delivery coversheet must be handed in on interview day - it tells GUZ IV where to send the visa packet after the interview. The GUZ P3 Supplemental used to be 'the thing' they used for verification when EMS delivery was still being used.

if you go to ustraveldocs.com/cn (I think that's right) and set up an account, making a full profile, you'll see an option to generate that coversheet in their scant 'left panel' menu.

I think my lawyer will have the DS-260 for me before the interview date since she mentioned last time. Yes, I registered the document deliver information, but I cannot register the case on the ustraveldoc website at this stage.

My original estimate still stands considering the holidays... I"m expecting receipt of P4 on December 9, and Interview as of January 24 (late January)..

My case just got updated again on CEAC... November 19 update.. oh nice.. something from the future now..

If your visa application is approved, it will be processed and mailed/available within two business days. My status is still not changed yet. How long will it take to change the status online once I got it from DOS hotline?

should be just a day or two.. she called two days ago and they told her over the phone.. then it just changed just the day before yesterday and yesterday (two updates)..
