I'm using the DHL Shipping Reference to track it.. entering all these dates to track the oldest one still there.. I'm assuming that when they receive it (or start to work on the case), it should disappear from the DHL tracking, am I right? Or at least when they finish the case, it will disappear..

Currently, the oldest date from Boston to Guangzhou is August 02 (EXP 02 AUG 2013A).. Mine is September 09.. so that's 38 days away.. my estimate is they will start working on my case after 38 days ... so a estimate of December.. with an estimate (45 days, 1/2 month to send out P4, and then a month from appt letter to interview, hopefully).. so an interview of end of January now..

Hmmmm.....interesting...

Have you confirmed that with DHL how long they leave the tracking information out there before it expires?

but based on your signature, the guangzhou consulate hasn't "received" my case yet.. so I'm seeing what date they are still working on.. after that, I'm guessing (and looking at yours) about 45 days from it to get the interview hopefully..

and it takes about two weeks AP after now just to get the visa printed.. but I'll worry about that later.. one step at a time.. interview approved is the most important thing for me now..

Yeah, so I'm just running a theory here.. as to estimate date.. I really hope my thinking is incorrect here, but this is the best I can come up with now to track my individual case.. and I will track it every day too.. just post here on the weekdays though with my updates =)

What is your tracking number? I remember seen clearance event updates for 2 months straight (May 30 - July 29 arrived in Guangzhou) On August 24, CEAC status changed to AP. September 9, I received the P4. So hopefully your is the same way.

yeah, some of the bigger ones I tracked (according to zhaozi) like August 08 is for bigger packages.. that's another thing.. I don't know if they deliver one time a month or something.. still lots of questions on how to track..

I just checked EXP 12 AUG 2013A again on DHL and it does not show up for China.. can you please check again?
